LoCo Meet and Blog! ( a follow-up on UDS session "LoCo best practices")

Happy Halloween!

At my UDS-R session yesterday, it became apparent that there's currently
a general lack of inspiring LoCo news out there. Let's change that. It's
time for all LoCo contacts, participants, & enthusiasts to share their
stories for the world to see!

Do you have a blog? Is it connected to Planet Ubuntu? Great! We need
your enthusiasm!

During these next 24 hours, we would like everyone reading this to write
a brief story about something fun, interesting, and local that your LoCo
has done recently. (Anything that has happened in the past few months is
fine.) Post it to your blog, and ensure that it feeds to Planet Ubuntu.
It needn't be long. Just a paragraph or two and a photo would be fine.

And, if you are at UDS-R today (Wednesday), we will gather in the break
area (adjacent to where lunch is served) at ** 12:00 noon ** for
special event, a "LoCo Blog-a-Rama", a one hour blogging extravaganza
guaranteed to make the world notice that "Ubuntu is not just software."
Drop by and write a short article. Meet other LoCo's and enjoy a lively
discussion while we fill Planet Ubuntu.

See you there!

Cheers,
Randall
