We just did a call out on the mailing list and on our team website for
people willing to contribute to posting and people who wanted to receive the
disks. We actually used burnt disks to speed up the process (we started
posting the very day it was released) and it came down to one person lined
up those wanting to donate with those wanting to receive. We posted out well
over 50 CDs in the one release, mainly to the rural areas where Internet
speeds are extremely poor and downloading a whole CD isn't viable.

The same process could easily be used with pressed CDs, just collect money
via paypal or a similar service and get others to donate time to package and
post. The hardest part is writing the first email, we had much more people
wanting to donate than we had asking for help so it went very smoothly.
