It really depends on how you organize your team in LP.
We have an open team for people who wants to join the local community and a
moderated team for official members only, so this bug is not only annoying
(having to change the current workflow), it also goes against our team
policy and the open nature of our local community.
If this is going to be implemented in LP I think our LoCo have to consider
dropping the membership in locoteams and locoteams-approved.
