Ubuntu 10.10 installation has changed from German to Arabic

Hello,

when I opened Ubuntu 10.10 today it had changed to Arabic script and 
display.
I do not know the reason for this.
But I'd like to re-change this issue to German again.

Could you please tell e, how to proceed to get this done?
