But an event will not.. ;-p

If you are having an event in more then one location surely that
counts as 2 events similar to how each loco has their own Global Jam
events.

I agree with Efrain why not just store all times in UTC and each event
can have a offset attribute and when you display the event you take
into account the offset, Each loco team can have default offset to
make it easier for event creators.
