Sponsoring requests

Hi,

the German LoCo team will do the yearly Ubucon from October, 15th to
October, 17th.

Martin Kaufmann, one member of the core organisation team, wrote
several sponsoring requests to Canonical and other "officials".

He did not even get a response, neither a letter of refusal nor a
acceptance letter.

In my opinion there should be some work on communication. Did anyone
of you have similar experiences? We are a little bit upset about not
getting any kind of response.
