Hi,

I wrote a tutorial in two parts for our LoCo that may help. See

http://dc.ubuntu-us.org/tutorials/gpg.html
http://dc.ubuntu-us.org/tutorials/signing.html

They are a general overview, and may provide you with enough understanding
to proceed. There are links in the tutorial to more detailed information
if you need.
