LoCo Governance - How is your LoCo-team organised?

Hi Niels,

In Massachusetts we run things similar to the chaos of the DC team, but
it's run on project based dictatorships for project organisation and a
consensus discussion about resources with the leader as the final say.

So, each event or project "we" want to be involved with requires at
least one dedicated member who will take charge and responsibility for
that project. Co-coordinating members, notifications, marketing and
other responsibilities can be defered on agreement with other members
willing to take those on.

My own events that I take charge on are the monthly meetings themselves
and the learn Ubuntu educational class once a week (Tuesdays). It takes
quite a bit of dedication to be able to pull together and run projects,
so we want to make sure everyone gets a shot at doing the events they
really want to do with the ability to call on help. Everyone gets to
vote with their feet though, if not their hands.

the benefit is that there is no 'blame' if things go wrong. There is
responsibility which means who ever is in charge should try and rectify
or at least record what they learned from an event. But I won't have a
comity of people pointing fingers, wasting time.
