 Hello LoCo friends,
Some of you may be aware of the Team Reporting process that has been
working for the last few months. You can see the current report over
at
 https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TeamReports/January2008
Well, I would love to see LoCo providing content for the team
report.
This is an excellent means of showing the community what you are
working
on and how great your team is working.
The process is pretty simple and is explained over at
 https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BuildingCommunity/TeamReporting - we like
report
content to be ready for the report to be released on the 22nd of
every
 month.
I would like to encourage *all* teams to do this. Just make sure you
add
your report bullet points to the 'Ubuntu LoCo Teams' part of this
months
 report over at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TeamReports
If you would like a reminder email asking you to file your report -
send me a mail with the email address of the person looking after
reports for your team and I will add it to the email I sent out each
 month.
I look forward to seeing your progress in the team reports!

I have passed down this information to Ubuntu-ve Members, We have
set
up a common place to share our activities during the month,
(gatherings,
talks, visits to schools or universities, IRC meetings, etc)

As many of you will know, we have had some delays in mailing list
approval and creation - this is something that is on our radar, and
 we
are taking steps to fix it. This includes figuring out ways to
 reduce
bottlenecks, the LoCo Council (which has the board ready, just need
 to
write it up for the CC approval), and more sysadmins being hired to
  focus on these issues.
I know its a pain, and I know its slow, and I know its annoying,
but
 we
are onto it. Please accept my apologies for the delays.

Same for Ubuntu Israel. What I did is request a snapshot our drupal
database on #canonical-sysadmin (Ng helps me out usually). Then I
went
to #ubuntu-eu and one thing led to another and now ubuntu-il has
hosting
on an ubuntu-eu server (like ubuntu france, germany, iran, etc..).
Regarding rt at ubuntu.com [50] not answering, I am going to discuss
this in the
 next community council meeting.

You might want to look at the logs for the last cc meeting. As I
recall it
 was discussed then.
 Cheers,
