me that there has been significant work put into the site, and that,
like the rest of us, these guys love ubuntu and want to contribute to
the community.
I'm not sure if it's LoCo territory, but it's community territory.
Clearly to 1000-some users "another meeting place" is filling a need.
I think the right course of action is probably to look at integrating
this with ubuntu's existing community resources. One of the developers
(forgot which one) mentioned to me that they don't intend to replace
anything, but glue it all together. I think that's a laudable goal.
It'd be nice if in the future we could tie something like OpenID or
something into all this and come up with some kind of single-sign-on
for all our community projects, and tie them all together.
