Install Fest question

What have other teams done to get the word out about an upcoming
install fest? We are planning to have one soon in Kentucky and want to
get the word out about it in the most effective fashion. Has anyone
done posters or fliers before? Here are some of the ideas that I have
had:

1) Word of mouth (probably the most effective and cheapest)
2) Use the Wiki. (How many non-Ubuntu users are going to check the
Wiki page and find it though)
3) Blog about it or use a website. (same argument as the Wiki)
4) Mailing list (same argument as the Wiki)

What other ideas are there?
