Mailing List Question

I have recently started up the Alabma Team of the Ubuntu LoCo Group. I have
done every thing instructed of me on the how to site. The only proble is I
have made to requests in the last  weeks for a mailing list. So my question
is, who do I need to contact to ask if there is a problem? We have a teh
show coming up in just over a week, and I would like to have the mailing
list active by then.
 Thanks for any advice.
