Pretty good exercise too in a silent list ;)
Just to start the ball rolling, I'm Jerome Gotangco of Ubuntu-PH
(Philippines). I'm involved with a number of teams like -doc and
edubuntu (as part of the council), but lately, I've been channeling my
efforts in my loco team. We mostly do localisation at the moment, but
its changing soon and Ubuntu is gaining a lot of users locally which
is a good thing.
We have lots of plans for the website to make a local ecosystem of
ubuntu users and companies that support it. SInce i've just moved to a
new job its been sidelined for a while but its still right on target.
Jono: on a side note, we're (Ubuntu-ph and PLUG) organising a huge
F/OSS conference in Manila 1Q 2007, would something like this interest
the current Community Manager? ;)
