LoCo stories for the UWN (Dec 4th - 11th)

Greetings all,

The UWN team is currently in the process of writing up the UWN issue 25.
Accordingly, I am now seeking some tasty gossip to include in the 'LoCo
News' section (or even the 'In The Press' section).

Did anything awesome happen between the dates of Dec 4th - 11th?

Ideas:

- Press coverage (magazines, online webzine/news site)
- Events (talks, conferences etc), either within the dates above, or due
within the next few weeks.
- Other really cool loco-related achievements (first meeting, CC approval)

If your contribution is Press coverage, please include linkage and
preferably an English translation.
