I'm having hard time getting sound and hibernation/suspend.

First the sound: Current ALSA version is the 1.0.10, latest stable.
Alsamixer can change the volumes, mute channels etc. but I don't get any
sound out of the laptop. All players "play" music files, but no sound.
Neither from speakers nor from headphone output.

Lspci -v output for soundcard:
0000:00:1b.0 0403: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition
Audio Controller (rev 02)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.: Unknown device 1213
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 169
        Memory at febfc000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2
        Capabilities: [60] Message Signalled Interrupts: 64bit+ Queue=0/0
Enable-
        Capabilities: [70] #10 [0091]

Then, the other problem, suspend to ram / hibernation end to problems with
graphic card (Geforce Go 7400). It just doesn't want to co-operate with me.
Suspend gives following error during process

[4299983.223000] Could not suspend device 0000:01:00.0: error -1

Device 0000:01:00.0 is graphics adapter, so the problem is with that thing.
I'm just wondering is the problem a driver specific or something else? I'm
having some suspend problems in windows too, so it could be driver specific
problem.

Well, if someone has something to say, I would appreciate. Any experience
with Core Duo laptops and those is appreciated :)
