Hi,

I reported this bug

awhile ago, back when I first tested dapper.  It was marked as a duplicate
of
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/xorg-driver-synaptics/+bug/3171

However,  bug #3171 is for the scrolling not working in 5.10.  My touchpad's
drag-scroll (unless I'm misunderstanding this term) worked perfectly
out-of-the-box in 5.10, and still does.    I've updated bug #29500: to get
my touchpad working the way I expect, only a few lines need to be added to
xorg.conf.

I've twice mentioned in my comments of the bug that I don't feel it's a
duplicate, but no one has responded. So I thought I would poke the list
about it.  It seems like it should be easy to fix.
