After several days of trying this and that to make it work, I gave up and installed 16.0.1 fresh using my 14.04 existing backup. Will that actually work of will it still completely trash the whole computer tike the LTS to LTS upgrade did thought waiting to the .1 version of an LTS version was to clear away upgrade bugs. Losing the whole system is not well received by our people so none of our other machines will now be upgraded. Now, they say I have to find a more reliable Linux system.<span><font color="#888888"><br>
