I seem to have a bug that according to what I've read has been
solved in Kubuntu 15.04. I have the 64bit version. I cannot do any
"normal" file search. Besides the SSD disk on which Kubuntu (&
Windows) is installed, I have two other sata disks. One with the
home partition (ext4) and the other one a ntfs disk which I use
mainly for photographs and other stuff that I need when using
Windows which I have dual booted.
I have installed "baloo4" and "baloo-utils" as was suggested in many
places I googled. Nothing seems to allow me to open dolphin>find
and then type a name of a file or folder I am looking for and do a
search. Most of the time there is no reaction in Dolphin even if I
change the search parameters. Sometimes I get a file named that has
the content of what I'm searching for but nowhere near the number of
files with that content or name I know I have. What can I do to be
able to search for a file on my computer which is the basic need for
working?
