I don't know "hwinfo" but how about "lshw"? OTOH I don't know if that is
also removed from 15.04 (I'm still using 14.04).

I just got "hwinfo" to work on 15.04 (and I've had it working on
older releases as well) by copying 3 files.<br>

Will be happy to send those files to anyone that is interested.
