What you could try is return the vista's boot. Put the installing media and access the error recovering inside it<br />

You would have a SO.<br />
<br />
after, try download ext2fs, that be able to read ext3/4 partitions. and make a backup of you files on linux partition.<br />
<br />
after, reinstall kubuntu.<br />
