Do you? :) But it is unlikely you do have the freezes caused by this bug if you're not running KDE, no matter if it is installed or not. []'s Marcelo </blockquote> I have had the same problem since upgrading to kubuntu 10.10 on my AMD64. I found out that the GPG program was using about 83+% of the cpu clock cycles. When I closed it, the problem went away. You may want to use your System Monitor to check for programs like this.
