<p>Ext2 or ext4 without a journal are the only ones to use on a flash drive, as using one with a journal will wear out the drive. Removing the journal from an ext4 filesystem is quite hard IIRC, so ext2 is the easiest way to go.</p>
<p>Bruce is right about sudo, you also need a space before the first slash.</p>

I think that the command is "sudo" -- rather than "sudu". Also, I<br>
