I have decided to use Kmail, if I can get it working. I receive emails without problems, however cannot connect to the server when I want to send. I have been using Thunderbird for a couple of years. I have a screenprint of my settings for TBird on the left of the screen and the settings I applied and DON'T work for Kmail on the right half of the screen. The size of the screen print is too big for posting, which is limited to 40kb, so if you will contact me off post, I will send the screen print, and perhaps you can get me running. Once repaired, I will report the cure on the forum and show the post as SOLVED so that others can benefit from the instruction. TIA.
