I'm not a great fan of themes myself, more a functional kind of person, but KDE 4 is *really* smooth and good looking, to the extent I miss it when on gnome or XP. I find the UI very well integrated. I do find the default colours too bland and washed out, but that's easily enough fixed. The other thing that keeps me with it is the relatively rapid rate of fixes and new (or reimplemented) features and the potential for simple plugins to extend the interface in new ways. </body></html>
