<pre wrap="">Here's some friendly advice.. bring back KDE 3.5.10. Fork it, create a
whole new DE based on 3.5.10, do something because I refuse to use KDE4*

ever seen in the software world. This is a classic example of "trying to
look pretty and sacrificing productivity in the process".

<pre wrap="">You've got my vote. I downloaded the beta and then the final release.
Neither one is going to work for me. I'll wait (a few years) for KDE to
come back into usable status.

<pre wrap=""><!---->I haven't really thought about the issue, but I did remove 3.4 quite a
while ago while still in 3.5.9 deciding to wait a bit. Finally I moved
to 3.5.10, but like you, I don't want to use 3.4 either. Before I will
accept 3.4, I will change to another product altogether. I hate to
complain, because I am so grateful for the free system we enjoy, but
given choices, even when free, you take the better choice, don't you. I
feel for the 3.4 creators; they are doing their best to improve. I wish
I could understand their reason for making the changes they made,
perhaps I could find the utility too.

I use Kubuntu for personal use (and thoroughly enjoy it) but would love
to use it for work! Because I need Outlook & couple of Microsoft
apps I tried crossover for Office 2003, that was absolutely useless. I
tried to install virtualbox but I would rather walk over hot coals than
spend another day trying to get bridged networking going. I too will
wait until we get our act together & release a enterprise ready
version.<br>
