Hello,<br>I have a brand new kubuntu 8.10 install, on which I added Firefox 3. Since this version of FF (I think) when you highlight text with the mouse and drag it, you can see the text in a transparent fashion and reduced, so you know exactly what you selected. When I do this on MS Windows or in Gnome, it works fine. If I do it when logged in KDE 4.1, the drawing of this shadowed text is *very* long and makes the display hang for a few minutes. The only solution I have is to unselect the text and wait for the drag operation to be finished. I have an Intel 945 GM graphic board with open source drivers.<br>
Anyone knows how to solve this problem? And if not, how could I remove from FF the ability to see the dragged text?<br><br>Thanks,<br>Vincent<br>
