Does anyone know where there are detailed instructions as to how to add a CUPS-based printer under intrepid? I have such a printer: 1. a computer running hardy can access it perfectly 2. The lack of "Printers" under System Configuration in intrepid confused me, but there's a "Printing" application accessible from the system menu. So that's what I tried to use. The fact that it doesn't even seem to require root privs is bothering, though. 3. I note that the printer does not appear in the list of remote printers (even though I have "show printers shared by other systems ticked), so I had to try to add it manually. Obviously, I did something wrong. Doc
