Blessings, Nigel </pre> </blockquote> <pre wrap=""> Um, how about just saying, "no" ? </pre> </blockquote> I have run glxgears on my IBM T61 Stinkpad with Kubuntu 64 with latest Nvidia driver (installed today 177.80) NVS 140 graphics chipset I get 6061 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1212.162 FPS 6784 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1356.768 FPS 6795 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1358.998 FPS 5822 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1163.441 FPS I'm running full GUI eye candy, being a IBM laptop they aren't built for graphics performance!
