I fiddled with it a bit, but couldn't figure out an easy way to remove the open jdk stuff and keep NetBeans. I recommend you either live with it and make sure NetBeans is configured to use the Sun jdk, or remove the packages and download the real NetBeans directly. It isn't hard to install if you follow the instructions. Plus, you can pick different package combinations. And once you are on <a href="http://netbeans.org">netbeans.org</a>, you can look at plugins available, etc. -- John DeCarlo, My Views Are My Own
