That is very odd, i am reisizing an ext3 partition as we speak with qparted, and it works as it<br>should. Perhaps the reason why some of those programs couldnt resize the partition is because<br>you cannot shrink a mounted partition ( so if hd1 is your root mounted partition, you won't<br>
be able to paritition it within kubuntu ). If this is the case, i would recommend using gparted live cd<br>(<a href="http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php">http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php</a>).<br>
