Hi,

My experience (both Qt/win and Qt/X11) is best downloading Qt from
trolltech's and recompiling it. By doing this, we avoid the "packaged"
versions of Qt, and we are always in control in the version we deploy.
We have been using Qt4.2.2, Qt4.2.3 and recently are trying Qt4.3.1

I attach a document with our experience with Qt. Hope it helps.

Of course, if you are new to Qt go to Qt4.
problems with th elook and feel of the application. The lines are drawn
very ugly and lot of the buttons are no longer usable. This only happens
on Ubuntu, on Fedora everything works from the first time without
hassle. Using qtconfig, I can adjust some things, but the look is not
satisfactory on Ubuntu. Please help me, because I do not want to go to
Fedora!

Qt 3 or 4? If 4 has the recent upgrade to 4.3.1 in gutsy helped? (Or
do the versions in feisty-backports help if you're using feisty?)
