In order to generate a Greenstone digital library in my newly installed Kubuntu 7.04 installation, I downloaded from<br><br><a href="http://www.greenstone.org/cgi-bin/library?e=p-en-home-utfZz-8&a=p&p=download">http://www.greenstone.org/cgi-bin/library?e=p-en-home-utfZz-8&a=p&p=download
</a><br><br>The download seemed to be problem-free.  However attempts to unpack the downloaded archve file (gsdl-2.72-unix) all failed.<br><br>This unpacking and installation has been successful under Ubuntu 6.06 LTS.  <br>
