GParted solved my problem. Please someone advise how to get KDE 3.5.6 for Kubuntu 6.10. Just changed everything in my /etc/apt/sources.list from edgy to feisty and the did a aptitude dist-upgrade and worked perfectly... didn't know about that tool.
