I'm tring to burn a DVD with K3b. </blockquote><div><br><br>K3b would have to be the least necessary program available in Kubuntu. Just 'man growisofs' I have never had a second of trouble with it. As it is K3b probably generates about 10% of the grief on this list and all it does finally (if you ever get it working that is) is to invoke growisofs to burn your dvd anyway.
