I have been running the kubuntu backports PPA (which got auto-disabled in the
upgrade)

I did re-enable the PPA in my attempt to get things running again, but there's
not het a jammy repo (no surprise).

how can I recover from this? do I just have to wait until version numbers of the
main packages get larger? point the PPA repo back to the last version? uninstall
all kde related packages so that it can reinstall?
