Errors in kubuntu-backports

The other day I upgraded my old desktop PC, first to hirsute then I enabled 
backports. After that a lot of things didn't work:

- It seems like kirigami was missing some parts. Some KCMs complained about 
missing types.
- KIO was missing the file protocol. Probably others as well, didn't test.


After purging everything seems to be OK.

Has anyone else had that experience?
