If windows is already installed on the new box I would use partition
magic to resize the partition that windows is installed on (as there
will potentially be 3 partitions on there already, an uefi partition, a
windows system partition and the windows install partition) to the size
you want for linux. You then be able to set up grub to dual boot linux
and windows.
