Kmail in Kubuntu 20.04

Talking kmail and kontact, by the way: What's the status of that "Kube"
project that seems to have been around but bit of "vaporware" ever
since? Actually, I then and now fancy working with KDE again because
ever since I loved the technological aspects behind KDE but have
constantly been driven away due to some features not working or
usability being next to unbearable. kmail, unfortunately, always has
been top of the list of "problem candidates" about that in 1k small
papercuts that drove me away from even considering it for day-to-day
use, poor Google Mail / Google Apps for Enterprise support and
dificulties getting it to work with O365 being just part of the problem.
Kube, at first glance, seems to have the potential to get rid of many of
these issues, but I'm unsure whether that will happen anytime soon... ;)

Best,

Kristian
