I don't know about LO 6, but the version I use has some small icons in 
the lower right corner of the window, one that looks like a single page 
and another that looks like a pair. Try them.

Since some upgrade Libreoffice insist on showing documents 2 pages side
by side. I don't like it one bit. Does anyone know how to get back to 1
page portrait mode?
