but that sounds like it gets ride off all the old Linux-kernels, I
only want to rid  so many to leave
at least 10-15 for back ups?

PS what about in the boot-loader in Grub 2 ,click the tab "remove old enteries",
how many does it remove, can I specify a certain number?
