Fwd: kernel updates for k12.04

Nils ,

I am at our local library, and I meant that I finally got my K12.04 lts
upgraded to K14.04 lts after it downloaded
about 214mb of upgrades, I then jump on to my new K14.04 lts and the
broadband dongle stick works,
but my dial-up that upgraded form my K12.04 doesn't seem to work, but after
checking with my dial-up
ISP, they tested the line and seems my external ABC modem is hanging up.
They done a test
when I booted up my Win7 which wouldn't connect thru dialup. and then it
worked, I tried it on my K12.04lts
and all OK so today I will be checking my my K14.04lts, so problem not the
Kppp it is the modem, will
let you know how I go OK?
