Of course you wouldn't do exactly that, but a typo with another command 
which has the same effect might happen. That's why an ordinary user 
shouldn't be in the "disk" group. And as another effect, someone in the 
group "disk" could circumvent all file system permissions. If you really 
need raw access to a disk, you should run the command as root.
