Instead of Firefox

I use Kubuntu for web/software development and I run Firefox (Mozilla 
Build), Chrome, Rekonq (as a documentation browser while working), Opera 
and I still use Konqueror from time to time.

Firefox and Chrome will both consume plenty of resources, one will not 
be too much lighter in that regard.
