after Daily update Kubuntu 15.10 will not boot up

Hi there Richard.  I updated both yesterday and today and have had no 
booting or issues logging on at all.  Were you using Kubuntu default 
display manager for 15.10 (sddm)?  Some info on the PC might help others 
to assist you.
