Upgrade to Kubuntu 16.04 LTS had issues

I only upgrade from one LTS to another. Those are supposed to be safe 
upgrades with virtually no issues. The upgrades between LTS's is 
supposed to weed out issues. At least that's how I understood the system 
to work.
