video thumbnails missing in dolphin

Dear Kubuntu friends,

Good day/evening for all of you.
im new to Kubuntu, but not to *nix.

i have installed latest kubuntu up-to-date.
when i open a directory i cannot see its thumbnails, i have tried many tricks but
situation becomes frustrating to me.

i have installed from terminal

myplayerthumbs
ffmpegthumbs
kffmpegthumbnailer
libffmpegthumb

and when i go to dolphin configure -> general -> previews
i see only the standard 7 options
comic books, folders, font files, images, jpeg images, svg images, txt files

and no options for video thumbnails preview.

may someone help and advise how to do it?
