virtualbox and kern.log growing to infinity

I'm running virtualbox all day long and I don't see those messages.
My kern.log currently is 40k bytes, while I have a 1.5M bytes kern.log.1

uname -a says

Linux seis 4.2.0-18-generic #22-Ubuntu SMP Fri Nov 6 18:25:50 UTC 2015 
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux


and virtualbox is 5.0.4-dfsg-2
