I'd disagree with that. The first release of KDE 4 was just plain
unfinished, and the result was a disaster (I myself switched to GNOME 2
for a time, even though I'd been using KDE since version 1.0). While
there are certainly things to complain about with Plasma 5, overall it's
a much, much better release.

My issue with it is that it doesn't seem as though these "things to
complain about" are being taken seriously (e.g. ISO 8601 date and time,
session restore). The current Plasma version is 5.3, after all.
