To steal a thread but to ask a question to Clay.:  Is there a good 
place/method to report "glitches" that I am experiencing...?   Not major 
problems but examples are:

Wallpaper slideshow doesn't work either on a time basis or with "next 
desktop wallpaper" click from the desktop
synaptic won't run from either the panel or menu...  but it will run 
from a CLI
Clicking on the "wrench" from a desktop icon just shows "keyboard 
shortcuts" when it should (I think) show the app settings.
