Thunderbird e-mail problems Ubuntu

Hello,
Thanks for the help, my uncle came with a inlog to the internet provider, there i saw there was no e-mail connected to the pop3.He had to made a new e-mail address that is connected to the pop3......Now it works again.Dennis
